Recharge Medical and Day Spa, a boutique spa in the heart of San Francisco, is committed to providing the highest quality day spa and cosmetic medical services in the safest and most tranquil environment possible.

The spa offers the best of both worlds: a state-of-the-art medical spa inside an peaceful and luxurious day spa. Our intimate space enables us to give each client the highest level of personal attention. Behind the scenes of this little oasis, exceptional attention is paid to the health and safety of our clients, employees, and communities.

Services

Recharge Medical and Day Spa provides a full range of day spa and cosmetic medical services, including manicure and pedicure treatments, full body skin care, facials, body massage, and a wide range of hair removal services, cosmetic injection services, and laser skin treatments. Cosmetic medical services are provided under the direction of our onsite medical director. (In many other spas the physician is there in name only.) The spa offers a number of day packages, providing clients with hours of tranquility. Additionally, the spa facility and services are available for parties, meetings, and events.

Health & safety

Our health and safety standards surpass those required by law. Our cleanliness and sterilization procedures are the same used in American hospital settings. These higher standards increase our costs, but they provide a significant reduction in health risk as compared with spas and salons with less stringent standards. More details: Health & Safety.

Complimentary services

Spa guests are treated to our selection of very high quality hand-picked and hand-rolled Asian teas; clear spring water; a shoulder rub with every facial, hand, or foot service; and cosmetic medical procedure consultations at no charge. Warm spa robes and slippers are available for that extra touch of comfort. If you need anything at all, please ask! Our manager and staff are here to make your spa experience peaceful and enjoyable.

Staff

The staff at Recharge Medical and Day Spa is carefully selected and is provided with quality improvement plans and regular training. All staff members are highly skilled in their areas of work and take great pride in their association with the spa. All staff members hold California licenses in their areas of work. The staff is managed by our Management Team.

History

Recharge Medical and Day Spa opened in May 2007 as Refresh Hand & Foot Spa, providing manicures and pedicures in a spa-like environment. From the beginning, health and safety were a primary concern. The spa has never used spa chairs, has always used surgical autoclaves to sterilize tools, and has always focused on hygiene issues. Shortly after opening, the spa stopped offering artificial nail services because of the threats to health they posed. The marriage of high health standards and tranquility was an immediate hit! Later in 2007, we changed our name to Recharge Spa on Nob Hill and added full body massage, facials, and hair removal to our list of services, continuing the same attention to health and safety and providing an even more tranquil spa setting. By early 2008, the spa became a registered medical spa with the state of California and began offering cosmetic medical services, such as BOTOX® injections, dermal fillers, and medical-grade facials. In March 2008, after much research, the spa acquired an elōs laser. This is the most advanced laser technology currently available and allows us to provide a range of skin rejuvenation and high quality laser hair removal services. In January 2009, Recharge Spa on Nob Hill became known as Recharge Medical and Day Spa.
